WEEKLY DEMONSTRATIONS!!!

Ok....so I have a little time on my hands today! hahahaha I have decided that weekly I am going to post demonstrations!!! SWEET! I am excited! So if anyone has something they would like to see created shoot me an email and we can make this a community affair!

Business For Sale

So I have to tell you my conversation with Wid yesterday. I was snooping on KSL for business for sale (don't ask Y) and I came across a floral shop in Orem for sale so I texted Wid it went something like this....

me: honey there is a floral shop for sale in Orem, UT

Wid: honey.....do you really want to do THAT again!?! (hahaaha he new my agony last time)

me: but I miss playing with flowers!

Wid: how is your wedding advertising going?

me: I have my bridals this weekend and then I have two photographers lined up for their bridal shoots. But we won't be making any money on them...

Wid:

ME: honey? Did you get that last message?

wid:

me: hahaha not to happy with me are you?

wid:

Needless to say I recieved no comment on what Wid thought of me doing bridal bouquets for FREE!!! But oh well he will survive (I hope anyway!).

So keep checking things out the next couple of weeks I should have some sweet new pics up!
And just so you know...I won't be buying the little shop in Orem...even though its a killer deal. But I guess it wouldn't hurt to go take a drive and look at it!!?! hahahaha

So I know this blog really does not have any flowers in it but still it deal with weddings! Here are some pictures of my fiance and I to choose from for our invitations. I am pretty excited to start getting these things done!!!
I have my bridals next week so I get to decide on what kind of bouquet to do for it. So many choices I don't know!!! :) I will post those pictures as soon as the photographer gets them back.
I also started networking with a photographer and we have a little deal. I make a bridal bouquet for their bridal seasons and I get free professional pictures of my work! SWEET! So my first bride is February 21 and I am so excited. Check back in March and you should have lots of updates!!!

Well....I thought I better ad some updates to my blog so here we go. I will have my first wedding in Utah at the end of February. It will be my OWN but hey it counts! :) I am really excited about the new year and the new adventure that is in store for myself and my soon to be fiance Wid. I have big plans so I hope he can handle them! hahaha He is super supportive which is great and wants me to start doing wedidngs again. He can tell how much I have been missing playing with flowers and planning weddings. So here is too a New Year...lets hope it's a great one!!!

So I am so excited to blog my new web page!!! I finally found a site that could help me create a web page for super duper cheap! And my web page matches all my other advertising stuff so that is pretty fun. Well I am hoping and praying that at the beginning of the year I will have all my business cards in and a display at a local jeweler set up. I am talking with my fiance about doing a wedding show in April or September. We are trying to decide which one will cause us the least amount of stress...hahahaha its a wedding show of course there will be stress!!! I am hoping that I will be able to start designing again soon in Utah. I miss doing weddings so much there are times I get pretty mopey because of it. Hope you enjoy the web page. It's still a work in progress though so check it once in a while.

Here is the last wedding Dayley Floral did before the big move!!! One of our girls mom was getting remarried so we did a bouquet & centerpieces for her. The red linens where also from our new wedding planning section that we are expanding. The bouquet turned out very very nice!!! The red roses, red calla lilies, and black leaves. Very dramatic!!!

Move to Utah

So I recently moved to the Salt Lake area and am getting ready to start my wedding business down here. I am so excited to be in a larger area so I can do MORE weddings!
